Professional Snowboarder | Backcountry Storyteller
Welcome! I’m driven by the raw beauty of the mountains and the challenge of riding untouched terrain. Here’s a glimpse of my first-ever human-powered wildcat (backflip)—no manicured jumps, just pure, wild backcountry. From steep-walled couloirs to remote peaks, these are the moments I dream of all winter long, and the lines I live for.

I'm passionate about human-powered adventures, especially with my splitboard. I always aspire to push the boundaries on my snowboard, inspiring others to explore beyond chairlifts. Conquering untouched couloirs and mountain experiences with friends fuel my love for these pursuits, driven by the challenge and sense of achievement.

I love using film and commercial projects as a means to share my riding passion with others.

From October 5–9, I’ll be pedaling 72 miles around Lake Tahoe’s shoreline in a pedal kayak. Helping remove the litter along the beautiful beaches. Recovering from shoulder surgery I wanted to give back.
teaming up with @cleanupthelake, this fundraiser will help continue their efforts long after my pedal ends.

Day 1 of 72 miles ciurumnaviagaion around Lake Tahoe to heal the body and the shorelines . Quinn and I started at Hidden Beach, Incline and pedal kayaked to Zephyr Cove. 17 miles in 7 hours with stopping at Skunk Harbor to remove litter We picked up 37 pieces that weighed out to 3 lbs. This project is about pushing ourself physically, enjoying Lake Tahoe's beauty and cleaning the shorelines the best we can.

We pedal kayaked from Zephyr Cove to Cope Beach and picked up over 160 pieces of litter before the wind started howling. A 5-mile sidewind stretch tested every muscle, but we made it safely to our next camp at Emerald Bay. We completed 15 miles in 7.5 hours of pedal kayaking. I'm grateful my healing body was able to complete day 2 of this project.
Please donate to Clean Up the Lake fundraiser. This will continue the efforts of Keeping Lake Tahoe clean and Beautiful.

My human powered film
2022/2023
Produced by: First Tracks Productions
Next Steps 2.0 is a human-powered exploration of the Tahoe Basin, where long hikes, endless traverses, and hours spent chasing novelty lines come together to define the essence of backcountry snowboarding. Through Claire Hewitt-Demeyer’s eyes, the film captures the grit, joy, and hilarity of “type two fun”—those moments of struggle that transform into unforgettable adventures.
With a documentary-style lens, Next Steps 2.0 celebrates the effort it takes to explore the mountains, the laughter that keeps you going, and the magic of reconnecting with your inner child along the way.
